Virgo New Moon 2021
7th September 21 AEST 10:51am
The first thing that stands out about this Virgo New Moon is that there are nine retrograde planets, asteroids, and points: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Pallas, Chiron, Eris, and the Moon’s Nodes. All the outer planets, are retrograde, highlighting that this is a massive collective experience we are having.
Collectively, there is the big transformational process already well in progress with Pluto in Capricorn and the Uranus/Saturn square. But with this plethora of retrograde planets, which at any time indicate a time for review; the powerful evolutionary forces which we’re amid, are on hold and perhaps devolving or regressing while this re-viewing happens, so that we finally really get all the nuances and understandings of these aspects.
In this New Moon chart a lot of material from old ways of life, especially for women are coming across our screens again. Eris, the sister of Mars nearly exactly squares Pluto, she represents the fierce feminine: the Kali aspect of the feminine, a warrior she takes no prisoners, especially when in hard aspect to Pluto.
Dark Moon Lillith is nearly exactly conjunct the Dragons Head, or Moon’s North Node showing us that the way forward in our evolutionary process is to follow the lead of feminine independence. This is so threatening to the eroding patriarchy that hard constraining measures are re-emerging to ‘keep women in their place’; as is being shown by the Taliban taking over Afghanistan again, and abortion laws in Texas regressing back to the 1950’s.
A deep subterranean means is being afforded, which rather than the external expression of the rising feminine we’ve been part of for decades.
The New Moon in Virgo chart is also reflecting the war of polarities we are experiencing eg: the vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is a world war in thinking. Mars is conjunct the New Moon, and trine Pluto, so taking some of the pressure off this war of words and manifesting it into the physical realms, and so we saw the Olympics and Para Olympics (Chiron opposite Mercury).
Beautiful ethereal Neptune in Pisces is conjunct Pallas (the wisdom, of a tapestry of resources) is opposing the Mars/Sun/Moon conjunction. The way for us to deal with all this darkness is to dream in the new world which is coming our way using intention and the opposite to fear, which is Love.
This powerful and continuing emergence of the feminine aspect of all life on Earth, including Gaia herself seems to be going backwards briefly. And isn’t this the way of all growth? You get a spurt of upward movement, then a plateau, and maybe some regression before the big leap forward.
‘Everything changes when you start to emit your own frequency rather than absorbing the frequencies around you, when you start imprinting your intent on the universe rather than receiving an imprint from existence.’
