New Moon in Taurus 2020
AEST 12:29pm 23rd April
The New Moon is an opportunity to open to new ideas, begin projects, new beginnings and to open ourselves to new possibilities.
This Taurus New Moon is conjunct Uranus; we are in the midst of huge Earth changes and awakenings, Uranus in Taurus is shaking up anything to with the manifest 3D reality here on our planet. Uranus shocks and breaks up old paradigms with its electrical wake-up calls. The ruler of Aquarius, it represents new ways of living, equitable, fair and humanitarian. Saturn has just entered Aquarius for a brief sojourn before it retrogrades back into Capricorn until December.
We’re getting a little taste of the square between Uranus and Saturn, which we will be flavouring most of 2021: the tension between the old world with its structures and protocols and the push into the new world, and the Aquarian Age. The most obvious manifestation of this Saturn/Uranus square is the current lock-down, and the constraints on our freedom of movement. Ofcourse for the good of all, but it is such a visceral way of experiencing this square!
A Taurus New Moon in the ninth house, (as it is here in South East Australia,) conjunct Mercury, can be an opportunity for us to visualise and communicate about how we want our world to be when the lock-down ends. Instead of what we do not want, let’s start dreaming in the world we do want.
The ‘normal’ that was there before Covid-19 has gone. There is now a space to transform, regenerate and renew. This visualising and transforming is supported by the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction. The expansive possibilities of transformation and regeneration harnessed en masse to change our world.
