Gemini Full Moon ~ A Penumbral partial Lunar eclipse ~

A penumbral lunar eclipse (30th November 8:34pm AEDT) takes place when the Moon moves through the faint, outer part of Earth's shadow, the penumbra. This type of eclipse is not as dramatic as other types of lunar eclipses and is often mistaken for a regular Full Moon.

On November 30, the twice annual inertia-busting eclipse season commences with a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse along the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of ideas and philosophy.

Eclipses tend to shake up any states or feelings which haven’t been moving. And while we all may be hoping that means we might be close to resuming an active external life, the real movement necessary may be to adjust our own attitude about what is happening in the moment. The Sun and Moon in mutable signs represent an ability to be in a constant state of adjustment and mutation as we gather and make meaning out of the new information we receive constantly.

This is a partial or penumbral Eclipse, yet still potent, and evocative. Lunar Eclipses are big Full Moons and represent completions, culminations and/or closures on developments; they can shine a light on what has been hidden or avoided. Feelings will come to be processed, some of them familiar and from the usual stories you tell yourself, and some of them will seem like they came out-of-the-blue.

Our thoughts are frequencies, electrical impulses, which affect our emotions, those magnetic waves which others can so often easily pick up on. Together they combine to form the frequency we broadcast, and that is why our thoughts are so vital in creating our reality.

Gemini is very creative energy, partly because it is Mutable, Air, so to do with concepts. At this Lunar Eclipse, we may find that we are in two minds about a situation, or we suddenly see the other side of an issue. This may be particularly the case as again shocks and surprises may emerge now, with Uranus in quincunx to the Sun at 7° Taurus/8° Sagittarius respectively. Gemini is connected to our everyday mind, but Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, is connected to our higher mind; and the quincunx here helps us integrate and adjust to the higher frequencies.

You can enquire closely into the paradoxical thought patterns emerging within, and with Gemini objectivity, choices can be made. Here is an opportunity to let go of old concepts and notions, so that spaces can open for new creative impulses.

Mercury is still in Scorpio but has moved to almost 28º, and is sextile (productive) to Pallas and Saturn, which can also support new and wiser vision (Pallas) coming from a deeper let-go. (Scorpio)

Venus in Scorpio opposing Uranus and Dark Moon Lilith in Taurus, challenges the way we relate to one another, and with DML, this could mean that a woman’s way of yielding and accepting the norms of a shattering patriarchy will become less and less sustainable, as the revolutionary and freedom-loving Uranus continues to shake up the fixed earthy practicalities we’ve lived by for so long.

As always with Scorpio energy, intense emotions are being felt, and at the same time the Uranian energy will be urging freedom and independence within your relationship. This can feel quite polarised as a desire to be close but also a desire to be free. Your feelings may be almost irrationally changeable at this time too.

Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are now all moving direct, in Capricorn and with Pallas in the mix, as well as moving into December towards more Air and Fire energy, which is lighter and quicker, there is a real shift happening, and a sense that archetypal female energy is being re-modelled, and transfigured. This is because of Eris squaring the big conjunction, which has been going on all year.

November is the last full month that Jupiter and Saturn will be in Capricorn. You are likely to feel a sense of completion with this too. It has been a tough, contracted, and challenging year for so many.

Jupiter and Saturn will together move into 0º Aquarius on December 21st, Summer solstice here in the Southern hemisphere. This day is profoundly significant on so many levels, mystics and psychics are talking about vast amounts of very high frequency evolutionary energies becoming available to us, the amount of high frequency light pouring into the Earth plane now as our galaxy moves through the photon belt which it will for the rest of our lifetimes, makes it impossible for the low frequencies to continue to exist.

It is your choice whether you focus on the drama and collapse of the old, that is meant to be disappearing from our life experience, or fully focus on becoming the creator that you are, and welcome the new. We cannot from our current perspective predict or preempt the details, but put simply the laws of physics dictate that if we are vibrating Love, Peace, Joy, and compassion, then our reality becomes a frequency match to those emotions, and we will pull in a New Earth of tremendous Light and Joy, a world where care for one another, other species as well as our stewardship of Gaia are imperative.

We now need to prepare ourselves by taking full responsibility for the way we ourselves filter our reality through past programming or pre-conceived ideas passed onto us through the media and our peers, and raise our awareness to higher levels of consciousness.
