Aries New Moon ~ 12th April

Aries New Moon ~ 12th April 2021 AEDT 12:35pm

Aries is right at the beginning of the Zodiac year, so the Aries New Moon heralds a new beginning, you can wipe your slate clean and dream in your intention for the new year.

The most striking thing about this new Moon is the gathering of planets, asteroids and point in Aries. We have Chiron, Mercury, Ceres, Sun, Moon, Venus and Eris together in an influential trajectory of moving forward, moving into new territory, and new ways of thinking. This can be a healing and motivating force, there is a need to talk about and express any issues surrounding the unconscious feminine, at times troubled, and looking for air to lighten and dissipate the heaviness of the past few months.

Venus is forming close to an exact square to Pluto, and by proximity Eris, and the New Moon are in the mix. This gives an opportunity to transform the way we relate to that darker more chaotic side of the feminine (Eris). Pluto always wants us to unearth old wounds and patterns, to evolve and transmute scripts and belief systems that are not life-enhancing. Sometimes there needs to be a purge of sorts, until the coast is clear to form new ways of operating.

With Neptune square Mars a wonderful and effective way to move and transform old programs and emotional patterns is to dance! Neptune rules music, and Mars needs to move. This is particularly important under this Aries Moon as Mars is the ruler of Aries, so moving your body is vital. Dance like nobody is watching (even if they are!). Music connects us deeply to our etheric and emotional bodies, and Mars energy is dynamic.

The sense of stop/go you might be having in your life, perhaps manifesting as stress or tension is because we are still in the Saturn/Uranus square, although it has eased off a little, we will be

In that dichotomous energy on-and-off all year. Uranus in Taurus is stirring up Earth and making big changes, some say there is an evolutionary momentum. Saturn in Aquarius is helping us ground and structure the Aquarian innovations and visions of a new world. In our own lives it may feel like hanging onto what you know works, the old structures and systems you have in your life already, and the push to open and evolve into the Aquarian Age to become what Alberto Villoldo calls Homo Luminous.
